My Academic and Professional Life

I am in my final year as a student at the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa. I will be finished in December 2020 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, specializing in Marketing.

Telfer School of Management

Business Communication Skills ADM 2381
Provide lectures on the necessary skills to deliver an effective business presentation. Grade presentations and memos on a weekly basis. Hold weekly office hours to provide students with feedback, support and help improve their skills. Assist in training and supporting new teaching assistants.

Marketing ADM 2320
Correct and provide feedback for globalization case studies, midterm examinations and marketing plan team projects. Assist in training and supporting new correctors. Provide online class synchronous lecture support for Professors.

Avasta Incorporated

Avasta Inc. provides leading-edge mathematics-based financial measurement solutions for brands and intangibles. In summer 2019, I conducted brand and market research for clients and created and managed social media pages for Avasta. I coordinated amongst senior leadership and was the administrative assistant to the CEO. During the internship, I travelled to New York City as part of my position.

Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics

I worked at Lush Cosmetics for around 3 years. As a sales ambassador, I interacted and assisted customers in a friendly, efficient manner. I conducted visual merchandising and educated customers on ethical and environmental campaigns led by the company. In my role as Eco Warrior, I created innovative methods and contests for staff to be more environmentally conscious. I presented and managed company led environmental initiatives to staff.

Junior Achievement Ottawa

Junior Achievement is a global non-profit youth organization whose mission is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in the global economy. I have volunteered to deliver business program sessions to middle school students, called the 'Economics for Success' program. The lesson includes personal and professional goal setting, financial literacy, preparing a personal budget, career choices, networking, long-term success, and other useful skills.

Models International Management

As a teenager, I modelled for a few years with Models International Management. I did photoshoots, runway, 3 seasons of Ottawa Fashion Week, catalogues, and so on. My favourite publication was in Vogue Italia, the photo in the bottom right corner.
